APPOMATTOX RIVER USBC HALL OF FAME

INSTRUCTIONS & QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMITTING CANDIDATES FOR ARUSBC HALL OF FAME

The Hall of Fame Committee shall have supervision over the Hall of Fame preliminary selection of those people who have distinguished themselves by Meritorious Service or Superior Performance in the sport of bowling within the Appomattox River USBC.

Selection Guidelines

A candidate may be submitted for consideration by the following categories: Meritorious Service , Superior Performance or both.
Candidates must have been an ARUSBC member for minimum of ten (10) years.
Candidates for Superior Performance must have bowled in minimum of ten (10) ARUSBC sponsored tournaments.
The nominator of a candidate must be a member of Appomattox River USBC.
Candidates shall be selected by the HOF Committee via a point system, for submission to a final vote by the Board of Directors.
Final voting shall be done by Board of Directors present the day of voting. Board members will NOT participate in voting should they or any relative be a candidate.
Candidate forms will NOT be held over to next season. A new candidate form will be completed each year.
Surprise inductions will NOT be permitted.
Completed candidate forms shall be submitted to the Hall of Fame Committee by the Deadline Date: March 15 of the current year.
